The base game is outdated, with limited civilizations to choose from. Theyres only 4 senarios to do in the game. The game setup options are a fraction of what was available in Civ 5.

Why cant i chose raging barbarians, random personalities, no city razing, to name a few. This game is not worth the $60 price point. Not just because its lacking content, but also because its a mediocre port from PC. No way to adjust the UI, visual glitches, clunky controls. Multiplayer doesnt seem to work for me, not that theyres many people playing it.

The base game needs serious work before its worth $60. The DLC’s cost need to be more like 20-30 dollars. Wait till the game is enevitably put on sale. But you can fix it.PLEASE READ-If you are having issues with glitchy scouts this is how you fix it. Go to the main menu and scroll down to downloadable content.

Open the download content and look for the DLC that changes scouts from dogs to cats (i believe its called scout cats DLC). DISABLE this DLC and it will fix your scouts. And boom no more glitchy streaks effecting the entire screen. AGAIN open the game and go to the main menu, this DLC is installed on the game NOT your xbox. Hope this helps 👍.
