I managed to ring one bell by lining up 3 jewels the same colour in the column next to the bell with one of them next to the bell and a single gap somewhere between the 3. I then managed to get another jewel of the same colour in the column next to the gap and use it to complete 4 in the column next to the bell and get a wheel to use to ring the bell. I hope this makes sense and helps. It took quite a time and despite several tries I didn't manage to complete the level before the trial time was up.
I've played all the other Jewel Quests dozens of times while waiting for the big grunty games that we play to come out. I will definitely be buying this game. Jewel Quest games have always had a good challenge to them and in previous games I just tried to beat my own score - so if I got 14,000 points for a game, then I would try and get 16,000 the next time round. I'm glad I've got something new to play in between now, although I've bought a lot of games in the last couple of weeks, so it may take a while to get to it. Roll on Christmas so I can get a decent chance to sit down and actually play a game without teenagers/animals/work distractions (sigh!).

Any ideas?Welcome to the pond!I pulled up both the regular and expert mode versions and if you're in expert mode, you have to ring each bell at least once in order to win. If you're in regular mode and it's not picking up the rings on whatever bell(s) you're using that may be a glitch, as the PC version just asks you to ring bells 6 times for the regular mode. Welcome to the pond!To answer your questions:-The 'missing' spaces in level 73 are the blocked tiles that look like speakers. You have to drop all the shells out first to unlock the blocked tiles then they will be regular spaces to clear just like the rest.
If you still have your first player profile you can go back there and try again.-As for level 4, the way you 'use' a coin is to first match 5 tiles so you get a coin, then you have to hit the coin with a ship wheel. The coin then goes into your stash at the bottom where the hand is. I need 3 shells to fall at the bottom but I don't even get 3 shells to drop.Welcome to the pond!I checked that level for you. The trick is to do the shell goal first, and only 1 shell ever comes out at a time. The drop spots are the 3 spaces at the very bottom center, so all your matches in the beginning have to be in the center part. Work on getting some bigger matches so you can get wheels and coins and if a wheel is lined up with a shell, shoot it downwards to drop the shell, otherwise use the wheels to clear out some of the rocks on the sides.Once the shell goal is done no more shells will appear, so you then want to try to focus on getting wheels and coins and collecting some coins to open up the top 2 tricky spots covered with rocks and also to get the diamonds down to the drop spots.P.S. If you happen to get unlucky with having a shell on the board when it first loads stuck in one of the columns with no drop spot, you have to get a wheel made and use the wheel to shoot out the shell so you can get a new shell in the center part later.Edited on at 8:06:07 AM PST.
